A wood garage door changes the whole look of a house. Cedar brings visible grain and warm, rich color that make a home feel welcoming from the street. Davis Door Service installs cedar garage doors for homeowners who want that look without giving up smooth daily operation. After 34 years in the business, our family owned team knows a wood door has to be hung and balanced right. Cedar is a good match for a garage door because it looks beautiful and holds up outdoors. The wood contains natural oils that help it resist rot and insects. Cedar is also lighter and more stable than many other woods, so it is less likely to warp or twist. That means you get the look of wood on a door that keeps its shape.

Cedar garage doors can take on many looks, from traditional to modern. A carriage house style gives a home old-fashioned charm, while raised panel designs offer a familiar, balanced look. Flush designs create a smooth, simple face for a cleaner style. Cedar can be stained to show off its grain or painted to match your trim. We can help you choose the look that suits your home. Like any wood, cedar needs some upkeep to hold its color. Sun and weather break down the finish over time, so the door should be resealed or restained every so often. Left unfinished, cedar slowly weathers to a silver gray. When the door's hardware or opener needs attention, we handle those repairs as well, so the door keeps running smoothly.

If a cedar door sounds right for your home, call Davis Door Service or send us a request to go over your options. We offer $100 off new installed garage doors, and our fair and honest pricing covers cedar doors just like any other install.
